| This wall sculpture contrasts two horticultural themes within the framework of a grid-like trellis. The trellis is suspended six inches from the surface of the brick wall. The alternating squares of the trellis suggest a vine-like plant that creeps up the wall and the wind blown grasses of Southern Delaware. The plant imagery is unmistakable...with less obvious themes of order and chaos, the rhythms of nature, and a whimsical interaction between the contrasting patterns within the design. |
